Congratulations on setting up your blog!
How was writing your first blog post? Excited? Interesting? Struggled? Confused? No idea?
Some of you may have experience posting on blogs, while others don't. It's totally okay if you are a novice blogger. You are in the right place! It would take time to be fully familiar with the interface, but you will have more opportunities to explore this tool. It's not a highly advanced tool, so I am sure that you all will get the hang of it pretty soon. :)
Teachers use blogs to share their knowledge and experiences and get some useful information. It is also a great tool for reflecting on what you've learned. Through reflection, you can organize your thoughts and see how your ideas evolve and improve as time goes by. In addition, you can also learn from your peers' posts. Please use this place to network with others. You may find helpful resources that you want to put into your toolbox or someone you want to network with even after this class ends.
When you comment on others' posts, please respect others' different perspectives and privacy. Although the blog is public, we should keep this place as a safe learning space. If your peer used a pseudonym, you should use that name in your comments instead of disclosing the real name. As digital citizens, we should manage our digital identities, respect others, understand intellectual properties, and protect our privacies. Your posts would be mostly about reflection on the course content. However, I hope you use this space as an archive as well. If you find something interesting related to educational technology or have useful resources that you would like to store and share, please feel free to do so.
I hope you have meaningful learning experiences here. Have fun! :)
